This inventory gives a complete overview of the main types of neurotransmitters and neuromodulators that have been identified. Supporting data to fill the tables is still being added. The list of neurotransmitters and neuromodulators for NeuronDB is a subset of this inventory. The inventory is based on Alexander & Peters (2000)
