Abeta oligomer causes aberrant activity of p-21 activated kinase
Ma, Q. L., Yang, F., Calon, F., Ubeda, O. J., Hansen, J. E., Weisbart, R. H., et al. (2008). P21-Activated kinase aberrant activation and translocation in alzheimer's disease pathogenesis. J Biol Chem, , Defects in dendritic spines and synapses contribute to cognitive deficits in mental retardation syndromes and, potentially, Alzheimer disease. Results implicate aberrant PAK in Abeta oligomer-induced signaling and synaptic deficits in Alzheimer disease.
