Description

Description Originally a single compartment model with HH channels designed for networks of fast spiking neocortical neurons as described in Wang XJ, Buzsaki G (1996) Gamma oscillation by synaptic inhibition in a hippocampal interneuronal network model. J Neurosci 16:6402-13. In subsequent models from other authors the channels or synapses were reused, sometimes in multicompartmental models.
